Paris will be busy in 2024. A week before the Paris Olympic Games start, there is the Paris gay pride. Marche des Fiertés or Paris Gay Pride is a procession in the heart of Paris. The parade runs through the city's major runways. The famous gay district of Le Marais organizes non-stop Pride themed parties all weekend long.

In 2018 the Paris Pride parade will be marked by discrimination in sport. Nearly half a million people walked for the Pride March in Paris.
