The nephew of the British Queen -Lord Ivar Mountbatten- has out himself to the public and royal family for the first time about his gay and how he has found love.

The divorced father of three said Saturday that he did not want to be forced into the closet with who he was and buried it.
He's just happy now to have found someone with his partner.
The 53-year-old, the great-nephew of Earl Mountbatten of Burma, who was killed by the IRA, has been gay are told to his family and friends and has proposed to his partner. He met his partner last March while skiing in Verbier, Switzerland.
