Ten years Antwerp Pride, ten years 'love united'
History:
But with the edition in 2010, it was the first without Navigaytion. Then with the removal of tobacco sponsorship amongst other, it was financially too difficult. From then Antwerp Pride was forced to explore into a new direction. It was in 2012 that they had a parade for the first time through the city center.
With the success of the World Outgames 2013 in Antwerp , the pride has given a big boost. Antwerp Pride become internationally and even be named one of the 10 best Prides in the world thanks to the hard work of the tourism department.
A four-day event, with parties, shows, exhibition and a parade with around 120,000 visitors, a budget of 200,000 euros, that’s quite an undertaking.

After 10 successful editions of Belgium Leatherpride, the name was changed to DARKLANDS .

Antwerp Brilliant Games 2019: Experience sports without boundaries
From October 31 to November 3, 2019, Active Company vzw organizes an international sporting event: the Antwerp Brilliant Games. They expect more than 800 athletes - gay, bisexual, straight, ... - from all over Europe and so many more visitors and spectators. Badminton, squash, tennis, volleyball, swimming and also rugby are on the program.
