Amsterdam Pride 2017 started

The Pride of Amsterdam starts from 29 July to 6 August 2017. The festival lasts nine days and the highlight is the annual Canal Parade on Saturday, August 5th.

Important change this year is the name. There is no talk about GayPride Amsterdam but just Pride Amsterdam. Pride Amsterdam, according to the organization, is more about the content than in previous editions.

In order to emphasize this message, Pride Amsterdam starts on July 29, 2017 with the so-called Pride Walk. The organization expects thousands of people walking through the center of Amsterdam during this opening activity.

There are also three-day Pride parties in the resort during the festival Pride Amsterdam to Zandvoort with "Pride at the Beach", from Monday 31 July to Wednesday 2 August 2017.

For culture there is the Amsterdam Streethearts that opens its doors for an Exhibition of Photograph Shirley Agudo in Central OBA at Oosterkaai Amsterdam.

There was a lot to do about complaints from neighborhood residents in centuries of Amsterdam, fat laws and litigation about noise and noise. It was decided that the Gaybars should be open later during Gaypride Amsterdam and the party street parties and canal parade may proceed according to the local court. How to fight a city to organize another gay event is madness.
