80 participants for the 27th edition of the Canal Parade 2024

The participants for the 27th edition of the Canal Parade have been selected. Together with the announcement of the six new Pride Ambassadors, this marks the start of preparations for Pride Amsterdam 2024.
About 300 events will take place during Pride, something for everyone and every community has been taken into account. The theme TOGETHER has inspired the participants to come up with various concepts and after assessing these, the 80 boats have been selected that will sail this year.
Accessibility for everyone is an important topic this year. For example, a boat sails for the deaf and hard of hearing, people with a mild intellectual disability, young people and the elderly.

o reinforce the TOGETHER theme, they have no less than €150,000 available this year for empowerment initiatives and decoration of boats. With the announcement of all participants, everyone can now get to work on making Pride 2024 an unforgettable edition again.

Participants of the 27th Canal Parade The 80 participating boats guarantee an extremely diverse parade. The selection committee praises the creativity of the entries and sees great connections with the theme. Last year's winners - 3Layers Foundation for Equality and WeAreFamily - were already assured of a place. In addition, PVH supports Youth Pride and Rabobank makes their boat available for Trans Pride.

The trend in the number of participating women's boats continues this year with no fewer than 4 boats. Naturally, there is also a lot of attention for sports, human rights, (mental) health and accessibility in all facets.
