Euro Songcontest 2011 in Düsseldorf
The popular Eurovision Song Festival in 2011 held in Düsseldorf in 1910, 1912 and May 14, 2011.
Germany is organizing the festival since it won in Oslo in 2010 with the song Satellite by singer Lena.
The festival will continue the arena in Düsseldorf, where 24,000 spectators can receive.
It is the third time that Germany may organize the festival in 1957 after Frankfurt and Munich in 1983.
The other candidates in 2011 were Berlin, Hanover and Hamburg.
The festival can be seen on television but also visitors from Germany and other countries are welcome.
On 12 May 1910 and go through the preliminary rounds and on May 14 is the final.
Germany has already been selected as host country for the finals along with France and Great Britanie.
