Bear Wars Pride Cologne 2015
This years motto of Bear Pride Cologne, organized by Bears Cologne e.V. is called 'Bear Wars'. If you guess we allude to the upcoming Star Wars Blockbuster – you´re right!
But its also apposite that this years motto means that we have to fight for our rights and our respect everyday new. The daily news show us the ongoing struggle until we can live as equal rights people in our society, all over the world.
Its fact that in eastern european countries the freedom of LGBT – People is restricted by law, discrimination. Hate grows stronger and stronger here. On the other hand, countries like Ireland show the world, that their citizens are more open minded than their religious and political leaderships, The referendum in May 2015 proved that the irish people don´t tolerate discrimination.
That makes clear to all of us, not only bears, it is still a long way to walk and to fight for a world with equal rights and respect for every human. - 'May the force be You'.
