
Berlin. For the 21th time is the Gay Streetfestival back in Berlin on 15 and 16 June.
Once again the rainbow flags are billowing amongst the trees of Motzstraße and the approximately 300,000 visitors here for the weekend.
The crowd finds its way through info booths set up by the queer community.
Lesbians, gays, heteros, families, curious kids and tourists will be on this this street festival.
This year there are dozens of highlights spread across several stages in the Motzstraße area.
On Saturday at 15:00 there will be a political talk <a href="http://youtu.be/MmD9ajphmbo" target="_blank">'Das wilde Sofa'</a> on the main stage (including journalist Carolin Emcke).
Later at 22:00 the queer Viennese pop band Jimmy und die Stricherjungs play here too,
and then on Sunday evening Schlager queens Die Kusinen take over.
As for the FrauenLesben stage, indie disco band Normal Love will perform on Saturday at 20:30,
as well as singer Suli Puschban will be on stage on Sunday at 16:00,
followed by chanson-pop champion Princessin Hans at 17:00 on the Queer Media stage,
ending in time to join DJ Westbam on the Connection club stage at 19:00, raving into the sunset.
In all bars will be celebrations until the early hours
